Drawing on my exploration of kitsch as a socio-cultural phenomenon, this talk examines key aspects of the design principles of kitsch that can make the user or consumer experience more human. No one can escape kitsch – and why should we?
Most of the talks social science is based on the phenomenal book: "The Psychology of Kitsch" by Abraham Moles. As far as I know, it has only been published in French and German. So, you have to invite me over to give my talk, if you're interested to learn more.
